by Curtis Hunter Columbus-The fourth annual Mr. Ohio Valley Leather contest weekend has been set for January 23-25 in Columbus.

The weekend will begin with a VIP reception Friday evening. There will be a Mardi Gras Krew Party at Tradewinds II beginning at 9 pm Friday. Everyone is encouraged to wear a mask and enter the Best Mask contest, which will be judged by the Mr. Ohio Valley Leather '98 contestants.

A buffet lunch will be held Saturday afternoon at Union Station Cafe. This year's contest will take place at Tabu nightclub, and will be emceed by Curtis Hunter and Fred Porcheddu. The doors will open Saturday night at 8 pm with the contest beginning at 9:30 pm.

Reserved seating with cocktail service will be offered during the contest. General admission tickets will also be available in advance and at the door the night of the

contest.

Make weekend package reservations early because the reserved seating area usually fills several weeks before the event. A post contest party will be held at the Eagle in Exile nightclub following the contest. There is also a dungeon party being planned for Saturday night that will last well into Sunday, and in the past has
